Mr. James Brown was one of those few artist that were really from and for the people. He grew up poor and actually did things to try to help the poor when he got a piece of the riches this materialistic world tells to fight for. He did a lot of things outside the music world that weren't mentioned in Hollywood's POV of his life, including creating a food stamp system to feed poor people. The naturally African rhythms in his music not only changed his generation, but also became a part of hip-hop's roots.
